I was about to blog Karis and Kevin’s wedding when I realized I never posted any of their engagement pictures. So I went through the archives and pulled few of my favorites from that day.
It was exactly one year ago when we shot this session at the Demens Landing Park in St. Petersburg. I arrived there a bit early and decided to scout the location. The park sits in the heart of downtown St. Pete – right next to the Pier. For a photographer this place is a prime location – it has gorgeous view of the bay, it’s relatively quiet and has lots of “props” to work with: trees, benches, rocks by the water, walkways, etc.
The weather was my friend that day (overcast) but Karis and Kevin would have been happier with a bit more sun – they had an idea of using some photos at their may wedding and coats or sweaters weren’t supposed to be in these pictures. So they toughed it out and wore summer clothes the entire session! And trust me, it was a cold December afternoon!
