As I mentioned in my previous posts, Tampa wedding photographers always appreciate an opportunity to shoot in Sarasota, and this time was no exception. Angela and Monti’s wedding at Crosley Mansion in Sarasota last weekend was truly awesome! It was a very special and intimate affair. Both ceremony and reception took place outdoors which was an excellent choice for this time of year. The guests enjoyed beautiful Florida Fall weather, spectacular sunset over the Gulf, and cool evening breeze later that night.
Everything went as planned but not without surprises. Half way into the ceremony, when the officiate asked for the rings, Monti raced a radio-controlled car, with the rings attached to it, straight to the altar. How cool is that?
Crosley Mansion is truly an amazing place for wedding photography. I could probably shoot there all day and wouldn’t run out of ideas. Thankfully, Angela and Monti were just as enthusiastic about pictures as I was, and gave me plenty of time to work with. We ended up taking photos all over the place – balconies, rooms, stairwells and outside by the water. We even managed to incorporated Monti’s red mustang into few of the shots.
Reception was held at the pavilion right next to the water, with a stunning sunset in the background. Rob Satori’s Italian repertoire set very romantic mood for the evening, as the guests continued to dance well into the night.
Choosing only few favorite pictures for this blog post was hard because there were just too many of them. Enjoy!
