Sunset Wedding Photography

tampa wedding photographer at workSunset weddings are always fun. Formal part of the day is over, everybody’s finally relaxed, reception is just few minutes away. I must admit, sometimes I get too excited shooting sunsets. The time is limited so everything has to happen fast. I run back and forth posing the couple, demonstrating for the bride and groom how to stand, hold, act, I show them shots on my camera’s screen, I roll around in the sand (love those low angle shots)… – basically, I do everything to get “that shot”. In fact, people often stop to see me work and on few occasions I’ve been asked for a business card:)

One of my brides, Stacey (see a couple of sunset pictures with her below – with the pirate ship and alone), sent me a picture of me working, captured by her sister.. Here is what she wrote: “Vadim, Happy New Years to you! My sister had this picture and it really shows you in action. I love it and wanted you to have it.” As you can see, my back is completely covered in sand:)Stacey’s wedding reception was on one of the Starlight Dinner boats, but right before boarding we spent about 20mins and took some awesome sunset picture of her and Scott.

And now, some of my favorites from the sunset series:

Travis - Very cool sunset photos. Great use of fill flash, I know thats not easy to do.

Michelle M - Really stunning backdrops. I can’t see how any couple wouldn’t want one of these on their wall!

N'neka - Great sunset photos. I especially love the 5th one. That sky is amazing. My husband & I just celebrated our 10th anniversary on Madeira Beach this spring. I wish I would have known about you to call you.
